The Chelsea girls’ cross country team continued to show its strength in 2017 by finishing in second place at the Bath Brad Clements Invitational Saturday, September 9.
Chelsea finished with 64 points in Division 2, just five points behind champion Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard with 59.
Caroline Hirth led the Bulldogs with a fourth place finish with a PR of 19:40, 22 seconds better than her previous record. She was followed by Allison Hughes in 11th with a time of 20:14.
Sydney Matusik was 14th in 20:30, followed by Riley Thorburn 17th in 20:47. Morgan Kurth was 18th in 20:49, Alison Hause 24th in 20:57, Natalie Gofton 40th in 21:37, Mallery Bee 59th in 22:36, Jacqueline Taylor 65th in 22:53, and Leah Pifer 72nd in 23:30.
