After a season opening loss, the Chelsea hockey team has bounced back strong with four straight wins, including a pair of shutouts last week.
The Bulldogs opened the week blanking Davison 5-0. Brennan Wright continued his torrid scoring pace with three first period goals to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead after one period.
Cooper Mattson and Wes Sullivan scored second period goals as the Bulldogs extended the lead to 5-0 after two and the defense and goaltender Aidan Boote would do the rest.
Boote stopped all 26 shots he faced in net for the Bulldogs earning the shutout.
Braden Steele picked up three assists, while Thomas Steele had two. Will McFate, Brad Sullivan, Wright, and Nick Jozwiak each had an assist.
The Bulldogs made short work of Pinckney in the SEC White opener Saturday, routing the Pirates 9-0 in a game that was shortened to two periods due to the mercy rule.
Chelsea scored six times in the first period to blow the game wide open. Wes Sullivan scored just 1:20 into the game and the rout was on.

Boote and Ethan Dunahoo split time in net to share the shutout for the Bulldogs as they outshot the Pirate 33-6.
