City of Dexter Planning Commission Public Hearing to Consider Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments




 

Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), notice is hereby given that the City of Dexter Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2017, for the purpose of considering amendments to the zoning ordinance.  The public hearing will be held at the Dexter Senior Center, 7720 Ann Arbor Street, Dexter, Michigan,

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the text amendments to the following Articles in the City of Dexter Zoning Ordinance:

Article 1, Enacting Clause

Article 4, Non-Conformities

Article 8, Special Land Uses

Article 19, PUD Planning and Development Regulations for Planned Unit Development Districts

Article 21, Site Plan Review

Article 22, Administration and Enforcement

Article 23, Amendment Procedure

Article 24, Zoning Board of Appeals

Copies of the proposed ordinance amendments are available for public inspection at the City Offices, 8123 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Any questions regarding the public hearing items should be directed to the Office of Community Development at 734-580-2233.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments.  Written comments regarding the proposed amendments should be submitted to the Office of Community Development, at the address listed above or via email to maniol@dextermi.gov, and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2017.

Sign language interpreter, or other assistance, is provided upon request to the City Clerk jbreyer@dextermi.gov, at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.  Minutes of all meetings are available on the City website, www.dextermi.gov.
