The Dexter girls’ swim and dive team won a showdown between two of the state third ranked teams last week.
The Dreadnaughts entered the meet as the third ranked team in Division 2 and Ann Arbor Skyline is third in Division 1 and came out on top 100-86.
Skyline won seven events to Dexter’s four and the teams tied in diving, but Dexter’s depth proved to be the deciding factor.
Annette Schultz led the Dreadnaughts with a pair of wins in the 100 and 200 free races.
Zoe Michos won the 100 breast, while Amelia Kinnard won the 200 IM.
Nicole France tied for first in the diving.
Dexter was second place in six events and third in six events and was also second and third in all three relay events to pick up valuable points.
