The Dexter volleyball team saw its season end in shocking fashion as they dropped a heartbreaking five set match to Ann Arbor Skyline 25-8, 25—18, 23-25, 16-25, 12-15 November 1.

The Dreadnaughts dominated the first two sets. Dexter came out quick and fired up and looked like they were going to roll to an easy win.

The rolled in the first two sets and looked to be cruising in the third set with a five point lead late, but as the old saying goes, the wheels fell off the bus for the Dreadnaughts.

Somehow the Eagles caught fire and chipped away at the Dreadnaught lead and rallied to pull out a stunning 25-23 third set win.

The shocking comeback by Skyline stunned the Dreadnaughts and they never overcame it.

Skyline dominated the fourth set with the 25-16 win.

Dexter tried to right itself in the deciding fifth set and it was nip and tuck throughout the deciding set, but with the game tied at 10, Skyline caught fire and closed out the match.
