In a preview of what could be a district semifinal matchup, the Dexter volleyball team defeated Ann Arbor Skyline in a five set thriller last week. Dexter took down Skyline in a see-saw affair 25-20, 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-13.
The Dreadnaughts could face Skyline in the semifinals at Huron if the Eagles get by Ann Arbor Pioneer in the first round.
Senior Libero led the Dreadnaughts with 26 digs and three aces, while Taylor Venuto had a big game with 23 kills, 14 digs, and four blocks.
Brooklyn Brown had 19 kills, eight digs, and two aces, while Karly Deutscher had six kills, two aces, and two blocks.
