Please join us in a celebration of life for Joe and Dolly Verwey at the Ann Arbor Eagles 7881 Jackson Road on May 6 from 1 to 3pm.
Frederick Joseph Verwey 1935 to 2015. Dorothy Jean Verwey 1936 to 2017. Joe was a giving and kind man who put others first. He is remembered as an honest and hard-working jack-of-all-trades. He loved his wife in children. He was wise and always gave good advice.
His partner in life, Dolly, was a spunky hard-working counterpart and good match. First and foremost Dolly was a housekeeper and a good one. She was also a baker, loved to can the fruits of her garden, was a great bowler in her younger years and liked to go to bingo and take a chance at the casino.
They retired to the west and enjoyed the Arizona sunshine. They are fondly remembered by their three children Robin, Joe, Jane and her husband Jim; five grandkids Ryan, Courtney, Mariah, MaKayla and Travi;s also several great-grandkids.
Two lives well-lived and well-loved.
