Old Tyme Millers String Band to perform at Walker Tavern Historic Site Aug. 20

Mi-HistoryMichigan, weather permitting. The final concert of the summer season, sponsored by the Friends of Walker Tavern, begins at 6 p.m.  

“We are pleased to host the Old Tyme Millers String Band for another summer event here at the tavern,” noted Friends President Bonnie McJennett. “The group is always well-received and fun to listen to.”

Bring a picnic, a lawn chair and a friend to listen too.

“We have had great success with our evening concerts this summer, and I am looking forward to inviting more musicians to participate in our series next year,” said site historian Laurie Perkins.





Walker Tavern Historic Site is one of 11 nationally accredited museums administered by the Michigan Historical Center.
