~7:35pm, assist Ingham Co. Sheriff Dept. in the 4200 blk of Morton Rd. on a check welfare complaint involving children.  SPD responded with deputies and made contact at the home and found the children fine.  Upon further inquiries, it was discovered that this complaint was an on-going civil custody issue with the mother who lives across state and her harassing the children’s father who currently has custody.  Unfounded complaint.

Clinton.  SPD was called to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.  Upon arrival, SPD determined that a vehicle, driven by an 18-yr-old Stockbridge woman, was backing out of a parking space and struck a 75-yr-old Stockbridge woman who was crossing the street after leaving the U.S. Post Office.  The elderly woman sustained minor abrasions and bruising and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.

~8pm, report of a suspicious subject in the cemetery attempting to make contact with some young girls.  SPD was called to the cemetery and interviewed two young girls who stated that a male in a red SUV was driving behind them and then attempted to talk to the girls.  SPD identified the vehicle and man.  The girls were interviewed further and this is still under investigation to determine if a crime occurred.

6/15 ~11:15pm, assist Ingham Co. Sheriff Dept. on a rollover crash on M-106 south of M-52.  SPD made contact with the driver, a 23-yr-old Brighton woman, and determined it was a one-car crash after she swerved for an animal and upon over correcting; rolled the vehicle which landed on its tires.  The woman was not injured during the crash.

6/16 ~4pm, traffic stop in the 600 blk of W. Main St. for no plate.  SPD made contact with the driver, a 21-yr-old Brooklyn, MI. man, and discovered there was a temporary plate in the window obstructed by a tool box in the bed of the truck however, he was driving on a suspended license.  He was cited and released pending a warrant.
