A workshop focused on the Movement Method, a movement-based approach designed to support nervous system and brain development, is scheduled for June 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Happy Hooves Wellness Farm in Dexter. The event is intended for parents, educators, therapists, and others interested in learning about approaches used to support individuals with autism, ADHD, trauma, and other neurodiverse conditions.
The workshop will be led by Rupert Isaacson, an author and educator known for developing learning and therapeutic programs. Isaacson is the author of The Horse Boy, a book that documents his travels through Mongolia with his autistic son and explores their experiences with alternative approaches to learning and development.

The workshop is for adults only; children are not permitted so participants can focus and engage more fully with the presenter and one another.
