Big Fourth Quarter Leads Dreads Past Tecumseh

The Dexter boys’ basketball team used a big fourth quarter to break a tie with Tecumseh Friday night to defeat the Indians 60-46.

The Dreadnaughts trailed 26-25 at the break and outscored the Indians 13-12 in the third to tie the game at 38 each.

Antwan Ficklen and Marco Lucchesi took over in the fourth,combining for 18 of the teams 22 points in the quarter as they pulled away for the win.

Ficklen tallied 11 points in the decisive fourth quarter, while Lucchesi scored seven for the Dreadnaughts.

The Dreadnaughts were led by Ficklen’s 17 points on the night, while Lucchesi finished with 16. Colin Parachek finished with 10 points and Andy Durand eight. Caden Doll chipped in with six points and Zack Koone three.
