Board Meeting Synopsis – Lyndon Township 1/9/18

Summary of Minutes, January 9, 2018—TOWNSHIP REGULAR BOARD MEETING—Meeting called to order at 7:01 PM.  During Public Comment, two residents spoke about Broadband.  Items approved:  Agenda; Consent Agenda; Approved Payment of Bills as Presented.  Discussion occurred on MTA Community Connection website.    Zoning Administrator reviewed his report and the CAFA Representative submitted his report in writing.  Gary Munce updated the Board on the status of Broadband.  Munce stated that RFPs for Engineering have gone out to six engineering firms and if interested, they must apply by Thursday, January 11, 2018 by 12:00 Noon.  Dawn Brennan, Broadband Project Manager Chair, will be in the Township shortly after 12:00 Noon on January 11, 2018 to pick up the applications for the Broadband Engineering Position.   Discussion occurred on the upcoming 2018 MTA Conference and Expo, April 23-26, 2018 and training for the Board of Review.  Item approved:   Approved Increasing the Credit Card Limit to no more than $5,000.00 for Linda Reilly, Lyndon Township Clerk, and to Approve Increasing the Credit Card Limit to No More than $5,000.00 for Mary Jane Maze, Lyndon Township Treasurer.  The Meeting adjourned at 8:58 PM.
