SYNOPSIS OF JUNE BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Summary of Minutes, June 12, 2018—TOWNSHIP BOARD PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING—Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM.  No comment. Item Approved:  Agenda.  Public Hearing on Municipal Broadband Ordinance.  There was a brief summary of the Ordinance.  No comments or discussion.  Adopted Resolution 18-04 to Adopt Ordinance 2018-01 Municipal Broadband Ordinance.   Regular Board Meeting.  Items Approved:  Consent Agenda; Bills as Submitted.  Information on Regional Transit Authority.  Zoning Administrator summarized his written report.  CAFA representative submitted a written report. Gary Munce updated the Board on the Broadband Initiative.  Our Broadband project is continuing to make significant steps forward.  Finley Engineering is working in the field to gather detailed information about the specific location of where the fiber optic cables will be installed in Lyndon Township.  You have most likely seen their crews working throughout the Township. The RFP (Request for Proposal) to be put out for bid for the construction phase of the project is being drafted.  Work is underway with Washtenaw County Road Commission, the DNR and DEQ to obtain permits for installation of cable along country roads and across state lands. Meetings with private road associations and residents to discuss access to private roads for cable installation are also taking place.  Items Approved:  Quote from IT Right to Upgrade the Server for an Amount Not to Exceed $3,000; Site Plan Application (SP 18-001) for the Greystone Site Condo with the conditions that have been stated by the Township planner, Planning Commission, and Township consulting engineer with the exception of E because the Township cannot enforce deed restrictions but would like the developer to know there appears to be a deed restriction on the property proposed for site condo; Tabled Revised Articles of Incorporation from Multi-Lakes Water & Sewer Authority until the 6/28/18 Budget Public Hearing; Appointed the Lyndon Township Clerk as the Cemetery Liaison at the Rate of $20.00 Per hour; Tabled Metro Act Right of Way Permit Extension until the 6/28/18 Budget Public Hearing.  Meeting adjourned at 8:07 PM.  Summary of Minutes, June 21, 2017—SPECIAL BOARD MEETING—Meeting called to order at 5:04 PM.  No comment.  Items Approved:  Agenda; Project Agreement for Waterloo-Werkner/M-52 Roundabout to Green Lake Campground; Agreement for Lyndon Township Table and Chair Rental (excluding Tables in Boardroom).  Rental is $50.00.  A deposit of $100.00 is required and will be returned if all tables and chairs are returned without damage.  Two separate checks are to be issued.  Meeting adjourned at 7:06 PM.  Summary of Minutes, June 28, 2017—BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING—Meeting was called to order at 6:02 PM.  No comment. Items Approved:  Agenda; Budget Amendment to the Lyndon Township Budget for Fiscal Year 7/1/2017-6/30/2018, dated June 28, 2018; Lyndon Township Operating Millage of .7106 for Fiscal Year 7/1/2018-6/30/2019; Supervisor’s, Clerk’s and Treasurer’s Salary Authorization of $28,256.00 for Fiscal Year 7/1/2018-6/30/2019; Trustees’ Salary Authorization of 3,662.50 for Each Trustee for Fiscal Year 7/1/2018-6/30/2019; Adopted the General Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 7/1/2018-6/30/2019; Adopted the Fiscal Year 7/1/2018-6/30/2019 Budget for Lyndon Township; Fiscal Year End Bills as presented; Fiscal Year 7/1/2018-6/30/2019 meeting dates for the Township Board, Planning Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals; Metro Act Right of Way Permit Extension.  Meeting adjourned at 6:41 PM.
