Board of Trustees Meeting Synopsis – Lodi Township 3/6/18



March 6, 2018 7:00 P.M.

The meeting opened with the flag pledge at 7:00pm.  Seven board members were present and 2 citizens. The Budget Public Hearing opened at 7pm with discussion on the 2018-2019 Proposed Budget.

The Budget Public Hearing closed at 7:05pm. The March 6, 2018 Regular Meeting Opened at 7:05pm.

The Consent Agenda was approved as presented.  The consent agenda included the February 6, 2018 minutes, treasurer Report, payment of bills, amendment of the budgets, and the zoning report.

There was no attorney report and a short Planning Commission Report.

Public comment was offered at 7:07pm. there was none.  The agenda was approved as revised, moving Stonco to first order of New Business.  Old/Unfinished Business: NONE.  New Business: Stoneco application to mine under the water table was approved based on Planning Commission recommendation and findings of facts provided, Saline Area Fire Department 2018-2019 Budget was approved, Township Attorney Barr & Anhut, Township Planner Don Pennington, Township Engineer OHM were all appointed, The Sun Times Newspaper was approved as paper of record, Lodi Township Investment Policy Resolution #2018-005 was approved, 2018-2019 Assessor Contract was approved, Saline Area Fire Department .9000 mills for Lodi Township was approved, 2018-2019 Lodi Township Budget was approved at 1,395,100.00, Metro Act right-of-way Permit approved with changes, 2019-2020 Lawncare bid approved, 2018-2019 Meeting Dates approved.

Public comment offered at 7:31p.m., there was none.

The meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m.  Next meeting will be on April 3, 2018 starting with the Washtenaw County Road Commission Annual Meeting at 6:30pm followed by the Board of Trustee Meeting.
