LODI TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING SYNOPSIS

May 1, 2018 7:00 P.M.



The meeting opened with the flag pledge at 7:00pm.  Seven board members were present and 1 citizen.

The Consent Agenda was approved as presented. The consent agenda included the April 3, 2018 minutes,

treasurer Report, payment of bills, amendment of the budgets, and the zoning report.  There was no

attorney report and a short Planning Commission Report, with updates on the Travis West project, and

Lodi Food Mart presentation.  Public comment was offered at 7:04 pm. there none. The agenda was

approved as presented.  Old/Unfinished Business: Approval 2018 Washtenaw County Road Projects as

follows:  Bethel Church Road, Dell Road to Grass Road for $236,400 and the Chip Seal projects on

Golfview for $19,600, Meadow Lane for $10,100, Blue Grass Lane for $17,600, Homestead Court for

$5750 totaling $289450.00 plus 3 applications of dust control (with matching WCRC monies) $22,101.75

with an additional $30,000 for limestone applications on Surrey, Harvest, Clover and possible S. Zeeb

Road bridge for a grand total of $341551.75 with $200,000 transferred from Lodi Township investments,

$114,915.09 from the 2018-2019 Budget, and the reminder in matching from the Road Commission.

New Business: Approval of One Day Gaming License for the Greek Church Ladies Philoptochos Society

on May 5th, Approval of Travis Pointe Fireworks Application for June 16, 2018, Approval for website

upgrades, and approval of cemetery post repairs.  Public comment offered at 7: 35pm., there was one

comment, Tom Bourque introducing himself, he is running for 14A District Court in November.

The meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m.  Next meeting will be on June 3, 2018 at 7pm.
