Charles William Esch of Dexter, MI died on October 27, 2024 at the age of 66.  Born in Ann Arbor, MI, he was a graduate of Huron High School, and trained in automotive mechanics in Denver, CO.  Charlie was employed at Ann Arbor Buick 20 years, Massey Cadillac 1 year, and Chelsea Chevrolet for 19 years.   

He loved farming with his dad from a young age and in 1984 purchased a farm in Dexter, MI.  Charlie, his wife Faye and their two sons enjoyed farming crops, raising pigs and selling hay and eggs. 

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L. and Mary (Bezzeg) Esch.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Faye (Helmuth) of Vassar, MI; sons Jeremy and Scott (Kristen), and his treasured granddaughter, Farrah (5); siblings Wayne (Debra), David (Jan), John (Joanne), Rosemary,  Jean Goodnoe (Duane), Carolyn Petitjean, Donald (Becky), James ( Jackie), Sandra Sparks (Peter),  and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Good News Community Chapel in Pinckney, MI, where Charlie was an active lifetime member, on Saturday November 9, 2024. Burial will be at Washtenong Memorial Park, Ann Arbor, MI.
