In bowling, a 300 game is a rare individual accomplishment, but for a bowling team to combine to roll a 300 is an even bigger accomplishment.
The Chelsea boys’ bowling team did just that as the team rolled a perfect 300 game in a baker match against Ann Arbor Huron.
John Davis, Tyler Bowman, Charlie Dahlgren, Hunter Allen, and Trevor Ramsey teamed up for the rare feat. They also teamed up to roll a 277 in their first baker game of the day.
The Bulldogs tied the match with Huron 15-15. Ramsey led the team in singles with games of 200-191, while Dahlgren rolled 191-179. Carvallo rolled 172, Watson 166, and Cobb 134.
They then defeated Adrian 21.5-8.5. Carvallo led the squad with games of 229-188. John Davis shot 204-190, Ramsey 210-162, and Watson 159-132.
The girls split a pair of matches defeating Huron 28-2 and falling to Adrian 18-12.
Brittney Stephenson led the way against Huron with a pair of 179 games. Corrine Dale rolled 171-157, Tori Walz 157-129, Meagan Conley 116-107, and Tharinee Youngsabye 111-85.
Against Adrian Stephenson rolled games of 196-153, while Dale shot 141-111. Lisa Kaiser rolled 126-117, Courtney Koch 144-96, and Meagan Conley 150-105.
