Despite missing some of their runners, the Chelsea girls’ cross country team came home with a strong second-place finish at the Hudson Invitational October 5.
Four Bulldogs earned medals in the race and two ran PR’s.
“We ran well today. We were focused as a team and performed well,” Coach Pat Clarke said.
Natalie Davies paced the Bulldogs with a seventh-place finish in 20:27, followed by Riley Thorburn in 11th in 21:01.
Freshman Audra Guthre set a PR with a time of 21:06 and finished 13th, while Kate Gaiser was 33rd with a time of 22:11 to also earn a medal for Chelsea.
Julia Kause finished 58th with a PR of 22:42, Emma Fredericksen 58th in 23:03, and Myranda Montoye 85th in 23:49.
