It all comes down to one game for the Chelsea girls’ soccer team when the Bulldogs host two-time defending SEC White champion Pinckney with the league title on the line.
The Bulldogs have a half game lead in the White and need a win over the Pirates to claim the SEC White title and a loss could bump Chelsea out of the top spot with an Adrian win over Tecumseh.
Chelsea defeated Pinckney 1-0 in a battle on the Pirates home turf earlier in the season.
The Bulldogs set up the title chance by cruising to an 8-1 win over Jackson Monday.
Emma Ruszkiewicz had a huge game with three first half goals, while Grace Ratliff had one to give the Bulldogs a 4-0 lead at halftime.
Chelsea put things away in the second half with goals by Ratliff with her second of the game, Sasha French, Kate McKenzie, and Christina Roberts.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-1 in the White and 10-4 overall.
