Chelsea Golfers Split Pair in SEC

The Chelsea girls’ golf team split a pair of SEC matches at a home meet at Inverness Country Club Monday, August 20.

The Bulldogs shot a round of 204. Pioneer clipped the Bulldogs with 192 and Ypsilanti finished without a score as the team bus showed up late and the team missed the first hole.

Sam Pagliarini led Chelsea with a nine-hole score of 49. Maddie Vasquez and Julia VanReesema each fired rounds of 50, Emily Ligi 55, Emily Savery 57, and Elizabeth Ligi 58.

The Bulldogs defeated Adrian 205-256 in a SEC White dual Thursday.



The girls were led by VanReesema’s 49. Pagliarini shot a 50, Vasquez 51, Grace Jacobusse 55, Hannah Greenstein 56, and Veronica Bussick 69.
