The Chelsea boys’ golf team brought home some hardware last week after the Bulldogs took the top spot in the Holt Invitational Monday, May 6.
Chelsea finished with an 18-hole team score of 312, beating out Holt with 315.
Brian Tillman finished second overall with a one-over par round of 72 at El Dorado Golf Course.
Jack Murray finished fifth with an 18-hole score of 75 and Thomas Olaveson finished with 81. Richard Montoye shot an 84, Josh Hanna 90, and Brandon Reisner 96.
The Bulldogs second team shot well with an eighth place finish out of 17 teams with a score of 336.
Kevin Scott led the way with an 81 and Shawn Potter 83.
Logan Fansler finished with 84, Brady McKale 88, George Grossbach 89, and Ethan Racine 90.
The Bulldogs remained perfect in the SEC with three conference wins.
They swept Huron and Monroe with a score of 158. Huron finished with 169 and Monroe 170.
Murray and Tillman each shot rounds of 37 to lead the Bulldogs.
Montoye finished with 41, Potter and McKale each shot 43, and Scott shot 46.
Chelsea then clipped Bedford 156-161 at Inverness Thursday, May 9.
Murray fired a 36 to earn the top spot and Olaveson and Potter tied for second with 39.
Reisner and Drake Booker each shot 42 and Montoye 47.
