The Chelsea boys golf team used some hot shooting to win and take home the SEC White crown at Barton Hills Country Club May 22.

The Bulldogs entered the Finals tied with Tecumseh for the top pot in the conference, but Chelsea fired a low round of 321 to win the crown

Dexter finished second with 328, Jackson third with 341, and Tecumseh a distant fourth 342.

The Indians played in spite of the loss of their coach AJ Marry, who was passed away after being struck by a car earlier this week.


Erik Koseck earned medalist honors with a low round of 75, four strokes better then second place.

Tyler Emmert finished with a round of 79, while AJ Mitchell shot 81 and Carter DeRosia 86.

The Bulldogs will take part in the Division 3 Regional at New Boston Huron Thursday, May 30.
