Thomas Steele ended the game by scoring the ninth goal a minute in to the third period.

Steele finished with three goals and three assists, while Wright added two goals and two assists. Holmberg, Nolan Law, Conor Dougherty, T. Steele, Gabe Vowels, and Wes Hansen each recorded an assist. Ethan Dunahoo stopped for shots in net for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs struggled at Grosse Ile January 24, falling behind 4-0 after two periods.

Wright scored in the third, but it was not enough as the Bulldogs fell 5-1.
