Chelsea Lacrosse Falls to Dexter in Finale

The Chelsea lacrosse team fell to Dexter 15-6 in the regular season finale last week in a game that was a continuation of a postponed contest from earlier in the season.

The Bulldogs had built a 4-1 lead when storms forced the game to be postponed until Monday.

Chelsea came out flat as the Dreadnaughts scored six second period goals to take a 7-4 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs tried to rally in the third cutting the lead to 8-6, but they would get no closer.

Cam Breining led the offense with three goals, while Riley Sumners scored two and had an assist, Spencer Gobba scored one goal, and Doug Zarinna had an assist.
