The Chelsea lacrosse team made quick work of Ypsilanti Lincoln last week, routing the Splitters 21-3.
The Bulldogs took a 5-1 lead after one period and blew the game open in the second with eight goals to take a commanding 13-2 halftime lead.
The lead grew to 18-2 after three periods as Chelsea cruised to the win.
Cam Breining had a huge night with eight goals and two assists to lead the Bulldogs. Riley Sumner added four goals and three assists and Max Gervais two goals and three assists. Nolan Law and Tyler Wallgren chipped in with two goals each, Spencer Gobba a goal and assist, Kyle Mitchell and Ethan Dunahoo one goal each, and Doug Zarinnia two assists.
Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs dropped a hard-fought 10-9 overtime decision to Belleville.
Gobba led the team with three goals, while Breining added two. Zarinnia and Gervais each had a goal and assists, Sumner a goal, and Zach Cooley an assist.
Chelsea then dropped a 17-8 decision to rival Dexter.
The game was closer than the final score indicates as Dexter led 10-6 after three periods but pulled away with a 7-2 run in the fourth.
Gobba scored two goals and had four assists, while Gervais and Sumner scored two goals each. Breining and Kyle Mitchell each scored one goal, while Zarinnia and Wallgren each had an assist.
