The Chelsea boys’ tennis team opened 2018 in a big way winning the Fowlerville Invitational Thursday, August 16 and going 2-0-1 at a home quad Saturday.

The Bulldogs won the Fowlerville tournament with 20 points, nipping Walled Lake Northern with 16, and Williamston with 12.



Chelsea won five of the eight flights.

Winners of their flights were Lucas Glendening at two singles, Lucas Hopkins at four singles.  AJ Mitchell and Landon Napieralski at two doubles, Kyle Mitchell and Evan Erber at three doubles, and Jack Mannor and Jack Krugh at four doubles.

Hunter Napieralski was runner-up in his flight of one singles, while Carter De Rosia was second at three singles.

The home quad Saturday saw the Bulldogs defeat Dearborn Divine Child 7-1 and Edwardsburg 8-0, and tie Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 4-4.
