The Chelsea track teams hosted the annual Chelsea Relays Friday, April 20 and both Bulldog squads turned in a strong performance.

The girls finished in second place, just two points out of first. Chelsea finished with 77 points, while Holt won the title with 79.

The field event teams were solid for the Bulldogs.

Jordan Holton led the Bulldogs with a pair of first-place finishes in the shot put and discus. Jenna Gileczek won the pole vault and Riley Davis was second in the high jump.


The 4×3200 team of Emily Chizek, Riley Thorburn, Allison Hase, and Morgan Kurth was second, while the DMR team of Hause, Ailish Joyce, Jacqueline Taylor, and Chizek finished third.

The boys finished third with 73 points. Holt won the meet with 100 and Linden was second with 93.

The Bulldogs were carried by the top four sweeping the 3200. Liam Hartsuff came home first, while Will Scott was second, Foster Thorburn third, and Matt Rosolowski fourth.

The 4×3200 team of Thorburn, Rosolowski, Hartsuff, and Scott finished first, while the DMR team of Tom Oates, Scott, Connor Gilbreath, and Jensen Holm came home first. James Mida won the discus and was second in the shot put, while Michael Tarasow won the pole vault.
