The Chelsea boys and girls track teams each split a pair of SEC White meets last week with the boys defeating Dexter and falling to Ypsilanti Lincoln, while the girls beat Lincoln and fell to Dexter.
The girls defeated Lincoln 87-46, but fell to the Dreadnaughts 81-56.
Jordan Holton picked up a pair of wins in the discus and shot put. Sydney Matusik won the 400 and Allison Hause the 3200.
Kaehla Manly, Matusik, Riley Thorburn, and Myranda Montoye teamed to win the 4×400, while Thorburn, Hause, Jacqueline Taylor, and Matusik won the 4×800.
The boys defeated Dexter 90-47, but fell to Lincoln 75-61.
James Mida won the shot put and discus for Chelsea. The 4×800 team of Connor Gilbreath, Will Scott, Robbie Oates, and Carson Rabbit came home first, while Jensen Holm won the 1600 and 3200 and Tom Oates won the 800.
The teams took part in the tough Mason Invitational Friday and the boys came home tied for fourth and the girls 13th.
The boys were led by Tom Oates who won the 800 and 1600, while Holm won the 3200. Mida was second in the discus, while Hunter White was fourth in the 400 and Gilbreth fourth in the 800.
Matusik was third in the 800 and Manly third in the 300 hurdles to lead the girls. Davis was fourth in the high jump.
