Chelsea Track Teams Sweep Ypsilanti

The Chelsea track teams had a strong start to the SEC White season with a sweep of Ypsilanti last week.

The girls dominated the Grizzlies 100-37 and the boys won 83-51.

For the boys’ James Mida was a double winner at the shot put and discus, while Evan Vaughn swept the hurdle races.

Liam Hartsuff won the 3200 with a personal best time and brother Zander Hartsuff won 1600. Mike Tarasow won the pole vault and Jensen Holm the 800.

Hailey Neal was a double winner for the girls, winning the 100 and the long jump. Jordan Holton swept the shot put and the discus for the Bulldogs.

Sydney Matusik won the 800, Allison Hause 1600, Emily Chizek the 3200, Kendra Patterson the 100 hurdles, Kaehla Manly the 300 hurdles, Riley Davis the high jump, Sabrina Matusko the pole vault, and the Bulldogs won three of four relays.
