Incident #: 24-1779 Location: 900 block of S. Main Street

INFORMATION: While on routine patrol officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation, prior to the vehicle coming to a stop the officers noted that something had been tossed out of the passenger side window of the vehicle. Once the vehicle came to a stop the officers made contact and identified the driver and passenger of the vehicle. Officers went to the location a short distance down the road where the item had been tossed out of the window and located a small baggie of white crystalized powder. The Officers collected the white powder for evidence and questioned the driver and passenger of the vehicle and both subjects denied tossing anything out of the window. The passenger, a 42-year-old Ann Arbor man was placed under arrest for an unrelated warrant and was transported to the Washtenaw County Jail. The case remains open pending laboratory analysis by the Michigan State Police Crime Lab and warrant review by the Washtenaw County

Incident #: 24-1797 Location: 1600 block of S. Main Street
Date: June 6, 2024 Time: 12:12 am
INFORMATION: While on routine patrol officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and throughout the course of the traffic stop it was determined that the driver had a warrant out of Jackson County. The driver, a 33-year-old Jackson man was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant and was turned over to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
