Chelsea Wrestlers Fifth at Wyandotte

The Chelsea wrestling team came home with a fifth place finish at the Wyandotte Roosevelt Invitational Saturday, January 5.

The Bulldogs finished with 111.5 points. The four teams in front of them were all Division 1 schools. Saline won the event with 164 points while Roosevelt was second with 153.

Mitchell Reynolds led the Bulldogs by winning the 152 pound weight class. He went 3-0 on the day and picked up a pin in the finals to earn the title.

Josiah Fitch went 2-1 on the day and finished second at 285, while Brandon de Gracia went 2-1 and finished second at 119.

Fourth place finishes went to Cole Munson at 130 and Shane Nold at 145, while Daniel Golding was fifth at 215.
