Chelsea’s Hunter Neff Named to MHSFCA D4 All State Team

Chelsea football’s dream season came to an end in the Division 4 State Championship game with a 28-7 loss to Edwardsburg Friday night, but the post-season awards have started coming in for the Bulldogs.

Senior wide receiver Hunter Neff was named to the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Division 4 All-State Team for 2018.

His posted season total’s of 76 catches for 1201 yards and 17 touchdown catches. All three individual season stats will put him in the MHSAA record books for each category.

He caught 10 passes for 275 yards in the season opener against Dexter. The 275 yards is the 15th most in a single game in MHSAA history.
