Meeting minutes of the May 7, 2018 regular meeting

Approval of Bills

Traffic Control Orders 18-475 to 18-479

MOVED Hammer SECONDED Albertson to approve the consent agenda.  All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Approval of Regular Agenda

MOVED Pacheco SECONDED Feeney to approve the regular agenda.  All Ayes.  Motion carried.

Public Comments

Presentations – None

Public Hearing

2018-2019 Budget and Millage – Mayor Johnson opened the public hearing at 7:28pm.   Mayor Johnson closed the public hearing at 7:32pm.

Council Business

Purchase of New Ford Police Interceptor

MOVED Hammer SECONDED Albertson to approve the resolution to authorize the City Manager to execute this Agreement on behalf of the City of Chelsea and hereby accepts and binds the City of Chelsea to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.  Roll Call Vote.  All Ayes. Motion Carried.

Mack Building / Jackson Street Construction Plan

MOVED Hammer SECONDED Albertson to close a portion of Jackson Street for the period of May 29th, 2018 to July 13th, 2018 for the purpose of the Mack Building Construction Project.   All Ayes.  Motion Carried.

MOVED Feeney SECONDED Catherman to move into Closed Session for the purpose of discussing litigation strategy for Mote vs City of Chelsea and Collective Bargaining negotiation.  Roll Call Vote.  All Ayes. Motion Carried.

MOVED Albertson SECONDED Pacheco to move out of Closed Session.  All Ayes. Motion Carried

Adjournment

MOVED Feeney SECONDED Pacheco to adjourn at 8:48 pm.  All Ayes.  Motion Carried.
