The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Marl at Saline City Hall.  The Mayor and five members of Council were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  Council voted to approve the Agenda as submitted.  Council voted to excuse the absence of Councilmember McClelland. There was one presentation.  There were two citizen comments. The following Consent Agenda items were approved by City Council: Council minutes of the July 9, 2018 regular meeting; payment of 53 payees in the amount of $148,957.23.


New Business:

Council voted to approve the following: Strategic Planning Proposal; Amendment to the Huntington Woods Sidewalk Installation Agreement; Purchase of Dump Truck Chassis; Dump Truck Up fitting; Resolution to Relinquish Farmland Agreement for Layher Property; Modification to Charter Amendment Ballot Language.  Council took no action on the Fairdene Zoning Amendment.  Council postponed action on 207 Monroe Street Development Re-design until the August 6thMeeting.  There were four Discussion and/or Report items.

There were two public comments.

Council adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
