SALINE CITY COUNCIL

MARCH 19, 2018

SYNOPSIS



The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Marl at Saline City Hall.  The Mayor and six members of Council were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  By unanimous vote of Council, the Agenda was approved as amended.  There was one presentation and two citizen comments.  The following Consent Agenda items were approved by City Council: Council minutes of the March 5, 2018 regular meeting; payment of 88 payees in the amount of $761,566.29; Investment Report was acknowledged; replacement of Riley Hollenbaugh on the Community Foundation Task Force with Holli Andrews.

Public Hearing:

A public hearing was opened and closed. There was one public comment. Council approved the DNR Land and Water Conservation Grant request for Salt Springs Park.

New Business:

Council voted to approve the interview committee; Administrative Personnel Changes; FY19 Operating and Capital Budgets for Saline Area Fire Department; Special Assessment Resolution for Saline Area Fire Department; Engineering Services for Industrial Drive; Purchase of a 2018 Ford Interceptor; Downtown Parking Study; Road Salt Purchase for 2018-19 Winter Season; FY 18 Water Supplies Budget Amendment.  There were four Discussion and/or Report items. 

There were two public comments.
