SALINE CITY COUNCIL

MAY 7, 2018

SYNOPSIS

The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Marl at Saline City Hall. The Mayor and six members of Council were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  Council voted to approve the Agenda was approved as submitted. There were two presentations. There were two citizen comments. The following Consent Agenda items were approved by City Council: Council minutes of the April 16, 2018 regular meeting; payment of 99 payees in the amount of $547,529.58; Resolution to Further Enhance Public Safety at Schools; Proclamation for National Police Week 2018.

Public Hearing

A public hearing was opened and closed. There were no citizen comments. Council voted to approve Resolution No 2 Special Assessment for Fire Protection.

A public hearing was opened and closed. There were no citizen comments. Council voted to approve the proposed 425 Agreement with Pittsfield Township.

A public hearing was opened and closed. There were no citizen comments. Council voted to approve the Special Land Use at 401 N. Ann Arbor Street.

A public hearing was opened and closed. There were no citizen comments. Council voted to approve the Special Land Use at 420 Russell Street.

Unfinished Business:

Council voted to approve the following Proposed Zoning Ordinance 801, Mobile Food Vendors; Proposed Ordinance 798, Mobile Food Vendors; Mobile Food Vendor Application and Permit Fees

New Business:

Council voted to approve the following: Huntington Woods Phase III PUD preliminary site plan; Aerial Bucket Truck purchase; Washtenaw County 800 MHZ Consortium; Interim WWTP Superintendent Appointment; WWTP Superintendent Appointment; Offer to plant downtown traffic islands; Resolution to Authorize issuance of Sanitary Sewer System Junior Lien Revenue Bonds; Well #4 Repairs.  There were nine Discussion and/or Report items.

There were three public comments.
