APRIL 2, 2018


The Regular meeting of the Saline City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Marl at Saline City Hall.  The Mayor and six members of Council were present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  By unanimous vote of Council, the Agenda was approved as amended.  There were two presentations and two citizen comments.  The following Consent Agenda items were approved by City Council: Council minutes of the March 19, 2018 regular meeting; payment of 95 payees in the amount of $799,192.81; National Library Week proclamation; National Kids to Parks Day proclamation; Liquor Licenses for 2018; Arbor Day Resolution; National Park and Recreation Month Resolution; World War I Proclamation; Establishment of interview committee.


Unfinished Business

Proposed Zoning Ordinance No. 801 was discussed, and motion failed.

Food Truck items 18-39 and 18-40 were removed from the agenda and will be brought back as discussion items along with Proposed Zoning Ordinance No. 801.

 New Business:

Council voted to approve the MERS Defined Benefit Plan Adoption Agreements; 2018 Trunk or Treat Community Event changes; Resolution to approve the Washtenaw County Solid Waste Management Plan 2017 Amendment; Mays Consulting and Evaluation Services Payment #2; Proposed Ordinance No. 803 Dangerous Buildings; FY18 Equipment Purchase.  There were five Discussion and/or Report items. 

There was one public comments.
