- Approval to Direct Staff to Investigate City-owned Park Street Property (Mayor Pacheco)
MOTION Keaton SECONDED Morris to direct staff to proceed with conducting environmental studies and ordering a survey and a title search for the City-owned Park Street property. Four ayes (Pacheco, Merkel, Keaton, Iannelli) and two nays (Mehuron, Morris). Motion carried.
- Approval of Agreement with Mannik Smith Group (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Keaton to approve the Agreement between the City of Chelsea and Mannik Smith Group for a conceptual development plan, utility assessment, capacity study, alternative analysis of utility extensions, and traffic due diligence for a total amount not to exceed $145,600. Four ayes (Pacheco, Keaton, Merkel, Iannelli) and two nays (Mehuron and Morris). Motion carried.
- Approval of Sub-Grant Agreement between City of Chelsea and SPARK (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Merkel SECONDED Iannelli to approve the Sub-Grant Agreement between the City of Chelsea and Ann Arbor SPARK for a grant award of $145,600. All ayes. Motion carried.
- Approval of City Manager Compensation Process (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Merkel to approve the city manager compensation process as developed by Dr. Heidi Reyst and reviewed by the City Council Committee. All ayes. Motion carried.
- Approval of City Manager Compensation Report (Manager Colburn)
MOTION Merkel SECONDED Iannelli to approve the city manager’s compensation recommendations for a contractual adjustment for annual remuneration of $150,225.60. Five ayes (Pacheco, Merkel, Morris, Keaton, Iannelli) and 1 nay (Mehuron). Motion carried.
