  1. Approval of Community Center Task Force (CCTF) Reorganization to Community Education Recreation Collaborative (CERC) (Manager Colburn)

MOTION Keaton SECONDED Ruddock to establish as a task force the Community Education and Recreation Collaborative as the Community Center Task Force is dissolved, establishing a nine-person steering committee to work to coordinate intergenerational recreation and education programming and to work to facilitate the establishment of a physical recreational hub/community center for additional recreational facilities. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Hart Energy Services Project Second Amended and Restated Power Purchase Commitment Authorization (Manager Colburn)

MOTION Ruddock SECONDED Iannelli to approve the Hart Power Purchase (second amendment and restated Purchasing Power Commitment) to augment the renewable electricity to be provided to the City of Chelsea for resale and add renewable energy resources towards the City Council’s green energy goals and work towards meeting the requirements of providing renewable energy by the State of Michigan. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • MPPA Power Purchase Commitment Authorization (Manager Colburn)

MOTION Iannelli SECONDED Merkel to approve the Power Purchase Commitment Authorization of $30,600 for MISO capacity requirements and signed by the City Manager. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Adopt Resolution #2024-29 Assigning Delinquent Stormwater Billings to Taxes (Director King)

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Keaton to adopt Resolution #2024-29 Assigning the 2024 Delinquent Stormwater billings onto the 2024 Winter Tax Roll. All ayes. Motion carried.

  • Approval of Contract with UIS for Lift Station SCADA Upgrades (Superintendent Freeman)

MOTION Merkel SECONDED Keaton to approve a contract with UIS for lift station SCADA upgrades and CRUISE control for $71,615.00. All ayes. Motion carried.
