On September 13, 2024, Cynthia D. (Cindi) Radtke of Hendersonville, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior. Born July 15, 1955, she was the eldest child of Fred and Merilyn (Johnson) Powell.
She grew up in Chelsea and was a proud graduate of the Class of 1973. On May 17, 1986, she married the love of her life, David Radtke. Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage. For many years, they made their home in Chelsea while raising their son Matthew Powell. When Matt and his family decided to move to Tennessee, Cynthia and Dave soon followed. She missed Chelsea and her siblings but being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother were the best jobs she ever had. She was so very grateful to be a part of her grandchildren’s lives. Watching them grow up to be the exceptional young adults they are filled her heart with joy. Besides spending time with family, Cynthia enjoyed reading, cooking, decorating her home and trying her hand at a variety of do-it-yourself home projects.
Cynthia was a force of nature from day one and she will be lovingly missed and remembered by her husband Dave, her son Matt and her three grandchildren, Jordyn (Spencer) Flueallen, Madison Powell and Jeffrey Powell, all of Tennessee. In addition, she is survived by her brother Jeffrey (Christine) Powell, sisters Anita (Gerald) Szabo and Celeste Klink as well as three nephews, Jacob Powell, John Powell and Andrew Klink, all of Michigan.
