The Dexter American Legion Post 557 proudly announced their High School Awards for 2018.  Legionnaire Ron Silverberg, presented Joseph Ramey (left) and Andrew Golin (right), with keepsake medallions, certificates, and checks for $500.  The High School Award is presented annually to two senior young men from Dexter High School and is based upon the individual’s grade point average (GPA), attendance, and participation in school and community activities.  This fall, Joseph Ramey plans to major in English at the University of Nebraska, while Andrew Golin will pursue a career in Bio-Medical Engineering beginning at Washtenaw Community College, and then transferring to the University of Michigan.
