The Dexter competitive cheer team continues to improve as the season rolls on after a second place finish in Division 2 at the Ypsilanti Lincoln Splitter Invitational Saturday, January 19.
The Dreadnaughts finished with 588 points, just four points behind D2 winner Ypsilanti Lincoln with 592.58.
The Dexter middle school team won the B-Division at the Splitter Invite. The Dreadnaughts finished with 341.60 points, beating out Lincoln with 288.30.
Earlier in the week the Dreadnaught varsity finished sixth at Chelsea’s Bulldog Bash. They finished with 544.06 points in the event won by Jackson Lumen Christi with 644.70.
The middle school squad finished second with 306.90. They finished just behind Chelsea with 310.20.
