The Dexter field hockey team continued to show why it is one of the top teams in Division 1 as the Dreadnaughts rolled to a 6-0 win over rival Chelsea September 4.

The Dreadnaughts improved to 5-0 overall on the season with the win. They have yet to allow a goal on the season as they held Chelsea without a shot on net.

Annalisa Shehab put the Dreads on top with a powerplay goal early in the first half and the Dreadnaughts rolled from there.

Abigail Tamer scored the first of three goals to make it 2-0 and then drew an assist on the third goal with a pass to Shannon Schoch who put it in the net.


Tamer scored her second on the powerplay with just over a minute left in the first half to make it 4-0 at the break.

Schoch scored her second on the night with an assist to Faith Anderson and Tamer finished her hat trick to make it 6-0 with the final goal of the night with 4:09 left.
