The Dexter girls swim and dive team clipped Ann Arbor Huron 95-91 in a meet between to highly ranked teams Saturday.

Huron won 9 of the 12 events, but the Dreadnaughts depth helped them pull out the victory. Dexter finished second in nine events and third in nine events, racking up numerous points for the Dreads.

Picking up wins for Dexter were Jordan Maisch in the 50 free and 100 back, and Elizabeth Higgins the 500 free.


Second place finishes went to the 200-medley relay team of Maisch, Zoe Michos, Theresa Rutz, and Samantha Durrant; Elizabeth Merz 200 free, Michos 200 IM, Durrant 50 free, Durrant 100 fly, Hailee Waters 500 free, the 200 free relay team of Kamille Balcom, Michos, Ella Krahn, and Emma Sortor; Michos 100 back; and 400 free relay team of Merz, Waters, Allison Wyka, and Maisch.

Third place finishers were 200 medley relay team of Lauren Witte, Balcom, Sortor, and Gwen Tatara; Water 200 free, Elysa Grossmann diving, Merz 100 free, Wyka 500 free, the 200 free relay of Merz, Durrant, Rutz, and Waters; Witte 100 back, and the 400 free relay team of Elizabeth Higgins, Daniela Schulz, Tatara, and Witte.
