The Dexter boys’ golf team won two of three SEC matches last week with the league championships at Saline this week.
The Dreadnaughts opened the week by taking a pair of matches at Hudson Mills.
They clipped Adrian by one stroke 170-171 and took down Jackson in a close match 170-175.
All four of Dexter’s top finishers finished just one stroke apart from each other and that was the difference in the matches.
Braden Richards and Matthew Joyce each shot rounds of 42 to lead the Dreadnaughts.
Drew Brzys and Evan Naylor were both just one stroke back with 43, while Connor Racine shot 44, and Nick Bearman 47.
The Dreads then dropped a close match to Ann Arbor Huron 170-172 Friday.
Richards led the way with a round of 41.
Brzys shot 43, Naylor and Joyce each with 44, Racine 48, and Bearman 50.
