Dexter Hockey Falls to AA Skyline

The Dexter hockey team dropped its SEC White opener to Ann Arbor Skyline 3-0 Wednesday, November 22. It was a rough game as both teams were hitting hard throughout.

After a scoreless first period, Skyline broke through late in the second when the puck took a bad hop off the boards and bounced toward the front of the Dexter net where a Skyline player flipped it inside the post for a 1-0 lead.

The Dreadnaughts had a chance to tie the game in the third when Skyline was called for taking down a Dexter player from behind and a penalty shot was rewarded to the Dreads. The Skyline goaltender made a glove save and just 20 seconds later the Eagles scored to make it 2-0.

Skyline added an empty net goal with just over a minute left to make it 3-0.

Dexter fell to 3-1 overall on the season. They will return to action November 29 when they travel to Ann Arbor Huron at the AA Ice Cube.
