Dexter Hockey Makes it Three Straight Wins





The Dexter hockey team made it three straight wins after an 8-0 mercy of Walled Lake Central Saturday, January 12.

It was the second straight mercy and shutout for the Dreadnaughts as they improved to 7-4 overall on the season.

Things were close after one period with the Dreads holing a 1-0 lead after one on a goal by Alex Mills.

The offense kicked it into high gear in the second as the Dreads exploded for six goal to take control of the game.



Kyle Burke, Ryan Lotz, and Kyle Knapp scored goal in the first seven minutes of the period to make it 4-0. Trevor Eisele made it 5-0 and Mills scored his second of the game to make it 6-0.

Nate Kniesteadt scored just before the period end to make it 7-0 and Brendan Busdeker finished the mercy for the second straight game by scoring the eight goal of the night early in the third.

Burke and Busdeker finished with two assists each, while Mills, Lotz, Knap, Eisele, Kniesteadt, Dylan Fox, and Luke Coogan each had one.
