Dexter Hockey Rallies for OT Win

The Dexter hockey team overcame a slow start and rallied for a 4-3 overtime win over Allen Park Cabrini Friday, January 5.

The Dreads took a 1-0 lead in the first one an unassisted goal by Alex Mills.

Cabrini responded with three straight goals to make it 3-1 after one period.

Brendan Busdeker cut the Cabrini lead to 3-2 in the second and Mills scored his second unassisted goal of the game to tie it 3-3 after two periods.

After a scoreless third period, Mills scored the game winner with his third goal game-winner with 2:24 left in the overtime period. Dylan Fox and Dalton Wright assisted on the game winning goal.

Logan Eggleston and Trevor Eiesle assisted on Busdeker’s goal.
