CITY OF DEXTER
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AN
UPDATE TO THE MASTER PLAN
Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 33 of 2008 (the Michigan Planning Enabling Act), as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Dexter Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2019. The public hearing will be held at the Dexter Senior Center, 7720 Ann Arbor Street, Dexter, Michigan,
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments on the proposed update to the City of Dexter Master Plan. The Master Plan is a comprehensive document, long-range in it view, and includes specific goals, objectives; strategies and public policy recommendations regarding land use and future grow in the City of Dexter. The Master Plan is intended to serve as a guide for future City decision-making related to land use, community development, economic development and capital improvements projects. The Master Plan was last updated in 2012, with an amendment occurring in 2016.
A copy of the proposed Master Plan is available for public inspection at the City Offices, 8123 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Dexter, MI 48130; weekdays between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Any questions regarding the Master Plan should be directed to the Office of Community Development at 734-580-2233.
Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and present their comments. Written comments regarding the proposed update to the Master Plan should be submitted to the Office of Community Development at the address listed above or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2019.
