While it wasn’t one of the best performances by the Dexter mens’ swim and dive team it was enough for the Dreadnaughts to pick up a pair of wins over Bedford and AA Huron Thursday, January 10.
Both Huron an Bedofrd came in to the meet listed as honorable mention in D1 and D2 and gave the Dreads a battle as Dexter came out on to of Huron 95-90 and Bedford 115-70.
Nik Eberly picked up four wins to lead the Dreadnaughts. He won the 50 free and 100 butterfly as well and being part of the inning 200 medley with Clayton Kinnard, Paul Schaefer, and Tanner Sharp and part of the winning 400 free along with Michael Baumann, Kinnard, and Casey Dolen.
Kinnard picked up a win in the 200 IM, while Sharp won the 100 breast.
Second place finishes went to Cole Warren in diving, Schaefer 500 free, the 200 free relay of Dolen, Baumann, Nathan Norris, and Sharp; and Kinnard in the 100 back.
The Dreadnaughts will open SEC White action Thursday night at rival Chelsea at 6:00 PM.
